Join me as we go through storytelling and drawing fundamentals, and aim to create short-form comics perfect for sharing online.
This class is designed with social media in mind. We will create short-form comics that are achievable but hold a tremendous amount of emotion and charm by learning the fundamentals of storytelling and using them to our advantage. Once we master the basics, we’ll go through my own pipeline as I create a comic for you from scratch. You’ll work alongside me, making your very own comic and learning tips and tricks for posing, cleaning your drawings, coloring them, and more.

HI! i'M NOOR
I am an Iraqi Storyboard Artist whose work focuses primarily on emotional storytelling. Whether it’s for more comical and witty genres, or stories in the realm of action and fantasy, heart and soul remain at the core of my subjects.
I graduated from the Character Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts in 2014. I’ve worked at Marvel Studios, Disney TV and Paramount Feature. Most recently I’ve storyboarded at Disney Feature Animation for three years, working on Zootopia 2 and other projects. Currently, I am developing my first graphic novel with Penguin Random House Publishing.
In my leisure time, I spend hours drawing in bookstores, playing stardew valley, and drinking copious amounts of tea.
My goal is to inspire others to express themselves, whether you're here to learn, create, or just enjoy the art, I’m so glad you’re part of the journey.

Theory is important, but what makes you a true artist is practice... Lots of practice! You'll find lots of exercises to get started with and from which to get inspiration. I will show you some tricks that will make your make up truly unique.
