Hi! I'm Noor
I am an Iraqi Storyboard Artist whose work focuses primarily on emotional storytelling. Whether it’s for more comical and witty genres, or stories in the realm of action and fantasy, heart and soul remain at the core of my subjects.
I graduated from the Character Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts in 2014. My graduation film, JIDO, was screened at the CalArts Producers Show. I went on to intern at Disney TV and started out at Marvel Studios, boarding for their first animated project, ‘What If’, which came to Disney+ in 2020. I storyboarded at Disney Feature Animation for three years, working on Zootopia 2 and other projects. Currently, I am developing my first graphic novel with Penguin Random House Publishing.
In my leisure time, I spend hours drawing in bookstores, attempting to properly meditate, and drinking copious amounts of tea.
